Catering Team Leader

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Team Leader to join their operations in Durban . In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional catering services for a variety of events. You will lead a team of catering staff, ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and managing on-site logistics.

• Lead and supervise catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served according to company standards and client specifications.
• Manage inventory and stock levels for events, including ordering and receiving supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Address and resolve any client or staff issues that may arise during an event promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor new team members on service protocols and best practices.

• Previous experience as a team leader or supervisor in the catering or hospitality industry.
• Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation styles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
