Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages
- Provide warm, attentive customer service to students and guests
- Handle cash or POS systems accurately and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the café and service areas
- Assist with stocking, inventory, and simple food preparation
- Create a calm, friendly environment that encourages social connection
- Build positive relationships with students and anticipate their preferences
- Experience as a Barista or in a café/food-service setting
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a calm, organised manner
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
- National Senior Certificate
- Must have 3-5 years experience in similar role
