GENERAL MANAGER – NEW THAI RESTAURANT OPENING | DURBAN NORTH COAST

A leading hospitality brand is launching a bold new Thai dining destination on the Durban North Coast — and we’re looking for a General Manager who can open strong, lead from the floor, and build a team guests will remember.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-it, shape-it, drive-it opportunity.

The Role

• Run the full restaurant operation — FOH + BOH

• Lead, hire, train and inspire a winning team

• Own the guest experience from arrival to farewell

• Drive service flow in a high-volume, high-expectation environment

• Manage stock, costs, labour and performance targets

• Work closely with kitchen leadership to deliver seamless service

• Help position the venue as a must-visit destination

Essential Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a General Manager within a luxury, fast-paced hospitality environment is non-negotiable

• Applications that do not meet this requirement unfortunately will not be considered
