Johnson Health Tech South Africa is looking for a high-performing, commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Sales Team.

Based in Durban, this role covers Kwa Zulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape, and parts of SADC. The position requires extensive travel and a hands‑on approach to developing new business, strengthening client partnerships, and driving territory growth.

What you'll do:
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients while driving revenue growth.
  • Identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities
  • Negotiating confidently and managing complex sales processes
  • Representing the Johnson Health Tech brand as a credible industry expert
  • Thinking quickly on your feet to solve challenges and remove obstacles
  • Taking ownership of your territory and delivering on sales targets
Background required:
  • ✔ Bachelor's degree with a commercial/business education.
  • ✔ Minimum 5 years’ proven sales experience with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • ✔ Ability to perform consistently under sales pressure and tight deadlines
  • ✔ Experience in the fitness and/or (para) medical markets (advantageous)
  • ✔ Strong MS Office and ERP software proficiency.
