Our client, a leading supplier of high quality medical consumables to the veterinary industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Rookie Sales Representative. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who has strong communication skills, a passion for animal health, and the ambition to grow within a fast moving commercial environment.

The successful candidate will receive training, mentorship, and ongoing support to develop into a confident and effective field sales professional.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within veterinary clinics, hospitals, and animal care facilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and visits.
• Present and promote medical consumables, demonstrating product value and fit for customer needs.
• Support the achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Provide basic product demonstrations and guidance to veterinary professionals and clinic staff.
• Develop a strong understanding of the product portfolio, including usage, benefits, and industry compliance requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and escape technical issues where necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems.
• Prepare weekly activity and pipeline reports for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, customer service, technical support) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

• Matric certificate (Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Life Sciences, or Animal Health is an advantage).
• 1–2 years’ experience in sales or customer-facing roles (graduates welcome).
• Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license, own car and willingness to travel.

• Self motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales environment.
• Comfortable engaging with professionals at all levels.
• Resilient, target driven, and able to handle rejection constructively.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Passion for the veterinary or healthcare industry is a big plus.

Basic Salary of between R12 – R15k + fuel allowance.
