Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to residential and commercial clients. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored HVAC solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular follow-ups, presentations, and meetings. - Sales Development:
Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales for HVAC systems and services. - Needs Assessment:
Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, perform system evaluations, and provide accurate and detailed proposals. - Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends to offer knowledgeable recommendations. - Proposal Preparation:
Create and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, system specifications, and project timelines. - Negotiation:
Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including pricing and delivery schedules, to secure contracts. - Customer Support:
Provide exceptional customer service, address any post-sale issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. - Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. - Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Grade 12 (Matric) required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred - Experience:
Proven experience in HVAC sales or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and industry standards.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyse customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must be able to perform site assessments, which may include lifting and carrying equipment.
