Commercial Solar Sales Executive

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven sales experience (minimum 3–5 years) in:
  Solar PV, renewable energy, electrical solutions or related technical industries.
• Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems
  , including: grid-tied & hybrid systems and battery storage & back-up solutions.
• Experience in commercial / B2B sales (essential).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within KZN.
• Computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, proposals, CRM or similar systems).

• Proactively identify, develop, and close sales opportunities in the commercial, agricultural, industrial, and institutional sectors.
• Promote and sell commercial PV systems, battery storage solutions, and backup power systems.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, site visits, and lead follow-up.
• Conduct client needs analyses and propose suitable technical solutions in collaboration with the technical team.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and return-on-investment (ROI) discussions.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, consultants, property owners, and decision-makers.
• Act as the key point of contact from initial engagement through project confirmation.
• Ensure accurate handover to operations and maintain post-sale client engagement where required.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
• Follow internal sales processes and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure feasible and deliverable solutions.
