This full-time, on-site Mechanic role is based in Durban. The Mechanic will perform regular maintenance and repair tasks, focusing on heavy equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and addressing equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. The role requires collaboration with a team to uphold operational standards and enhance performance.

• Experience in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Heavy Equipment operation and servicing
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in the logistics or maritime industry is an advantage
• Ability to work well as part of a team and uphold safety standards
• Relevant technical training or certification in mechanical or equipment‑related fields
