About the Role
Our client is looking for a proficient HVAC Installation Technician to join their dedicated team in Durban . This role is crucial for ensuring comfortable and efficient environments for our clients by expertly installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for the complete installation process, from reading blueprints to final system testing, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This position offers a stable career path for skilled technicians who are passionate about delivering excellent workmanship and contributing to client comfort and energy efficiency within the Kwa Zulu-Natal region.
- Install new HVAC systems , including ductwork, piping, electrical connections, and control wiring, according to design specifications.
- Read and interpret architectural plans, HVAC schematics , and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform system checks and tests after installation to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues that may arise.
- Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of their newly installed HVAC systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly cared for.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles , refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Good physical condition to handle heavy equipment and work in various environments.
- Possession of relevant trade certifications or qualifications in HVAC installation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
