Appliance Repair Technician

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Appliance Repair Technician to join their customer service team in Durban. You will be the primary point of contact for customers experiencing issues with their home appliances, providing expert diagnostic and repair services. This role requires a deep understanding of various appliance systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in customer homes.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in a wide range of domestic appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, etc.).

• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures during all repair and maintenance tasks.
• Provide clear explanations of issues and repair processes to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed.
• Manage your schedule effectively to attend service appointments promptly.

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of common appliance brands and their internal workings.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
