Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Roofing Estimator/Project Manager role is based in Hartford, CT. The individual in this position will prepare detailed roofing estimates, review plans and specifications, perform site visits, and develop accurate material and labor take-offs. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing subcontractors and field crews, monitoring progress and budgets, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards. The role also involves communicating with clients, responding to questions and change requests, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with the team to resolve issues promptly.
The Roofing Estimator/Project Manager is expected to oversee projects from bid through completion, ensuring timelines and costs remain on track. Preference for Construction Management or Architectural background. Work area is Connecticut. We offer a comprehensive and affordable package that covers health, dental, vision, 401K Plan. - Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Safety and site operations skills.
- Experience preparing roofing estimates, reading blueprints, and performing material and labor take-offs.
- Strong project management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating crews and subcontractors.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members, and maintaining clear documentation.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and estimating or project management software.
- Relevant construction or roofing experience; formal training or certification in construction management or a related field is beneficial.
