Qualifications:

• Current and Valid CT Teaching Certification (065/165)
• Experience in working with students with diverse educational needs and supports
• Strong ability to develop and maintain communication and rapport with parents
• Knowledge of evidence-based learning strategies to support identified students in the least restrictive environment
• Ability to collect, manage and analyze data to measure student progress and inform instruction
• Experience in formal evaluation and assessment practices
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, a high degree of flexibility and initiative
• Knows and effectively communicates the Regional School District 13 philosophy and mission
