Landscaping Crew Leader
The Crew Leader executes site level tasks on Bright View's client sites. This position directs the work of 2-5 other employees and ensures assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by Bright View and Bright View's clients. The Crew Leader oversees crews working in varying service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.
You'd be responsible for:
- Maintaining a schedule and ensuring service expectations are met
- Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager
- Assisting in resolving issues with customer service when needed
- Ensuring work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
- Communicating regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Delivering services as specified on client sites
- Working to identify more efficient ways to perform work
- Coordinating service execution with Operations Manager
- Overseeing day to day site operations and delegating work to crew team members
- Providing Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)
- Working with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew members
- Ensuring equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order
- Participating in branch meetings as directed
- Accurately capturing and turning in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC)
- Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Bright View Equipment certifications
- Experience in a landscape-related field
- Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers
- Driver's License
