Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Controller role for a small but growing US subsidiary of an international manufacturer based in northern Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience including leadership skills, ideally in the manufacturing industry. A Hybrid work schedule is available.
- Oversee the finance department, including supervision of Accountant
- Handle budgeting, audits, tax obligations, accounting functions, and administrative duties for the organization.
- Maintain financial ledgers and manage accounting processes.
- Prepare monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets for the international parent company.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and internal financial reports.
- Provide financial analysis reports as required.
- Manage cash flow and perform treasury-related tasks.
- Implement and uphold effective systems and internal controls.
- Work closely with external CPA firm.
- Oversee and analyze physical inventory processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on matters related to benefits, including 401(k) plans and other employee benefits.
- Work closely with Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams regarding inventory and pricing matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
Three or more years of experience in the accounting field;
Minimum 2 years leadership experience. - Possess the ability to multitask and work collaboratively as well as independently
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ERP system experience.
