Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | In-office

Execu Source is representing a well-established company seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and can manage payroll processes with accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll accurately and on time
  • Utilize ADP to process weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bonus, and off-cycle payrolls
  • Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws, garnishments, and deductions
  • Respond to payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Audit payroll reports, carrier feeds, calculations, and system data for accuracy
  • Enter payroll journal entries into ERP systems and support system integrations (ADP/Concur)
  • Manage monthly benefits billing and assist with paid leave processing
  • Support year-end W-2 processing, audits, reporting, and payroll-related projects
  • Identify process improvements and proactively resolve payroll issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience
  • HRIS experience required; ADP experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, taxes, and compliance requirements
  • Advanced attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and solve problems proactively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to pass background check, MVR screening, and drug testing requirements
