Overview
Accounts Payable Clerk responsible for processing and reconciling vendor invoices, credits, and payment documentation to ensure accurate and timely payments. Verifies invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents, researches and resolves discrepancies, assigns due dates, and maintains complete audit records through filing and scanning. Responds to vendor inquiries regarding payments, deductions, and account status while reconciling vendor statements and processing credits.
Utilizes accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications to support accounts payable operations while maintaining accuracy, organization, and compliance with basic accounting principles.
- Process and reconcile vendor invoices, credits, and payment documentation to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents; research and resolve discrepancies.
- Assign due dates and maintain complete audit records through filing and scanning.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments, deductions, and account status.
- Reconcile vendor statements and process credits as needed.
- Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications to support accounts payable operations.

- Experience with processing and reconciling vendor invoices, credits, and payment documentation.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, receiving documents, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ability to research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to basic accounting principles.
