Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Sr. Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented Accounting + Finance industry. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial decision‑making and operations as we continue to enhance our business profitability. Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Responsibilities- 1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- 2. Participating in tax audits and payroll preparations.
- 3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenues.
- 4. Managing month‑end and year‑end closing.
- 5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
- 6. Organizing financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
- 7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- 8. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- 9. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service.
- 10. Using Netsuite for various accounting operations.
- 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus.
- 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- 3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- 4. Proficiency in accounting software, with a particular emphasis on Netsuite.
- 5. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
- 6. In‑depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- 7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- 8. Excellent numerical skills with an ability to spot inaccuracies.
- 9. The ability to handle time‑sensitive tasks.
- 10. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
