Legal Biller

This in-office position, based in Raleigh, supports a prominent busy law firm. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal biller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely billing while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

• Prepare and process client invoices accurately and on time
• Review billing details and make necessary corrections before submission
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on billing requirements and questions
• Monitor invoice submissions and resolve billing issues promptly
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and payment follow-up as needed
• Process expenses, reconcile discrepancies, and complete required billing entries
• Assist with account inquiries, reports, reconciliations, and other accounting projects as needed

• 5+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm preferred
• Experience with electronic billing (Elite/3E and e-billing platforms) and client billing guidelines
• Proficiency with legal billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
