Parts Puller

Job Description

This is an entry level position at South Charlotte Hyundai Parts Department. The responsibilities are as follows.

• Accurately pull parts from parts department shelves or stockrooms based on picking tickets and digital work orders.
• Stage and prep parts for our automotive technicians, wholesale client deliveries, or customer counter sales.
• Assist in receiving incoming inventory, shelving items correctly, and tagging parts to maintain accurate dealership records.
• Inspect parts for damage before issuing them and verify that the part numbers match the technician’s work order.
• Keep the parts department housekeeping up to standard, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Strong understanding of automotive components, part numbers, and basic mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely lift heavy items (up to 50 to 75 lbs.) and spend long periods standing, walking, and bending.
• Basic proficiency in dealership inventory computer systems and barcode scanners.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the right part is delivered to the right vehicle or customer the first time.
