Automotive Mechanic - Durham, North Carolina,

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated automotive mechanic to join a new & exciting client of ours at thier busy and professional service department, based in Durham, North Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and exceptional customer service.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related issues.
• Complete work in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards.
• Accurately document findings and complete repair orders (ROs).
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and safety.

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE Certifications and OEM training are advantageous but not essential.

Up to $83,200 basic pay ($40.00 per hour, experience dependent), based on a 40 hour working week.

8 hour working day, dealership open from 07:30am - 19:00pm, ability to work flexible working hours as long as 8 hours is done as a minimum per day.

You will also be expected to work 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00am - 17:00pm.
