  • Facilitate Duke’s administrative and financial dual‑interest disclosure and conflict‑management program.
  • Conduct third‑party risk assessments, debarment checks, and other institutional compliance services.
  • Perform privacy program activities including responding to rights requests, conducting compliance assessments, and coordinating implementation of compliance initiatives.
  • Analyze records, interview clients, and assess internal controls, risk‑mitigation strategies, and compliance with Duke and external requirements.
  • Plan and deliver independent compliance advisory engagements informed by risk assessment and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with OARC team members, departmental leadership, and other stakeholders to communicate results and drive improvements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, management information systems, or related field.
  • At least four years of experience in business or compliance operations, including planning, oversight, and delivery of projects/engagements.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, understanding of risk and controls, and experience evaluating business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in public policy or law.
  • Professional license and/or certification in project management, compliance, investigations, or other relevant areas.
  • Experience in professional services.
  • Demonstrated relationship‑management skills and strong communication abilities.
Other Requirements
  • May require handling confidential information with diplomacy, sound judgment, and adherence to Duke policy.
