Staff – Analyst in Infrastructure Advisory Business
- Under close supervision, perform foundational business, technical, technology, or digital consulting tasks, applying basic principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights, identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare reports, presentations, processes, tools, models, and other client‑ready deliverables with attention to detail, clarity, and logical structure.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops to support the project team with presentation, facilitation, and note taking.
- Apply appropriate technical methods to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and engage subject‑matter experts as needed.
- Develop professional judgment through exposure to industry practices and guidance from senior team members.
- Understand and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements, demonstrating accountability for timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Collaborate with teammates and experts to ensure high‑quality deliverables and successful project outcomes, escalating risks and issues promptly.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Build foundational knowledge across Infrastructure Advisory solution areas and industry specialties, developing depth in a chosen specialization over time.
- Internship or work experience on an engineering project or in an engineering or consulting environment.

Skills:- Ability to develop functional or technical knowledge in at least one target industry.
- Ability to develop functional or technical knowledge in at least one solution area.
- Decision‑making abilities including providing insight on multi‑dimensional issues.
- Human relations skills, including collaboration and teamwork.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other widely accepted business software.
- PC literacy with applied knowledge.

- Bachelor of Arts or Science, preferably in business, math, or engineering, or relevant business experience.
- Zero to two years of experience in a business or consulting environment.
- All applicants must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search as required by law.
This position is based at a Black & Veatch office location within the United States. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on managerial discretion, job performance, and work assignments. The role may require work in confined spaces at times.
