Overview

The Retail Supervisor-Events is responsible for managing effective, efficient, and quality event execution in a designated location. They audit, train, and coach Event Specialists on proper team compliance to represent the CROSSMARK Events team.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, supervise, and motivate employees; develop them to deliver on client expectations.
  • Train Events Specialists on company processes, policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality execution by conducting audits and work‑withs of Event Specialists, develop event execution skills, and maintain Food Safety practices.
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming events and post‑event execution.
  • Act as the point of contact for all events being conducted in the store; assist Event Specialists with kits, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Monitor and manage expense metrics such as payroll time entries and additional expenses.
  • Manage execution and overall performance of scheduled events by monitoring scorecards daily and weekly.
  • Reschedule events timely to maximize on-date, on-weekend, and overall execution results.
  • Share competitive knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with field support, recruiting, and client services.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly demo kitchen; inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper maintenance.

Responsibilities With Regard to Workers' Compensation Claims:

You must report any employment-related injury to yourself or your team as soon as possible after an incident resulting in injury.

Qualifications

Education/

Experience:

Associate Degree and/or Technical Diploma or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer

Skills:

Ability to use company-provided computer and mobile device applications and internal systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver’s license is required. National Registry of Food and Safety certification required within 30 days of employment if not already certified. Local Food Handlers permit if required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct supervision of approximately 10-50 employees.

Work Environment:
Retail store environment. Local travel may be required.

Physical Demands:
Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk and hear, read instructions, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden. Prepare foods and beverages using required appliances.

Language

Skills:

English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
