Operations Manager
Facility Planning, Design & Construction (FPDC) is seeking a Space Manager to lead healthcare space management, data governance, and supporting systems across the Medical Center, Health System, and affiliated sites. This role oversees space databases, drawings, and reporting that support operational planning, financial allocations, regulatory compliance, and life‑safety needs in a complex healthcare environment.

Skills &Preferred Experience
- Strong project management, customer service, and change management skills.
- Experience with Archibus, Web Central, BIM/CAD, Smartsheet, MS O365 tools.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Access preferred.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience – Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities, space management, information systems, or project management.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
- Manage and maintain healthcare space data and drawings using Archibus, Web Central, and CAD/Revit platforms.
- Oversee space assignments supporting accounting allocations, billing, licensure, and regulatory reporting.
- Support space planning, utilization studies, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Facilitate space allocation decisions and resolve competing stakeholder needs.
- Lead system enhancements, data quality, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Engineering & Operations to support building drawings and life‑safety documentation.
- Manage staff, budgets, and vendor relationships related to space and systems management.
The role supports facilities across multiple Duke Health campuses and regions in a fast‑paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.
Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $62,694.00 to USD $.
