Working Title: OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant

(Internship duration: June 1 – July 26, 2026)

• Participate in a laboratory research project under the mentorship of Duke Faculty and lab team
• Attend structured professional development and networking sessions in research methodology and career development
• Participate in clinical activities related to the faculty mentor’s area of research
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and medical students
• Deliver a presentation about the research experience

• Available to start on campus June 1
• Commit to full-time (40 hours/week) research for eight weeks
• Provide names/contact information of two references
• Submit Curriculum Vitae and undergraduate transcript
• Clinical shadowing vaccine requirements: TB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Flu

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Demonstrated excellence in previous academic endeavors
