The candidate for this position will be a highly motivated individual with a track record of academic achievements and a Ph.D. degree (or will be in the process of completing a Ph.D. program) in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, biomedical informatics, biostatistics or a related discipline.
Required qualifications include:
- Expertise and experience in machine learning or image processing/computer vision
- Proficiency in computer programming
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- One or more first-author journal papers published or accepted for publication in a good international journal
Preferred (but not required) qualifications include:
- Experience with analysis of medical images
- Experience with deep learning
- Experience with collaborative filtering algorithms
- Proficiency in statistical analysis
- Experience with reader studies and eye-tracking
