Summary of the JobThis role supports business development and partnership growth efforts for financial institution credit card programs across the enterprise. Working closely with the SVP, Business Development, this position helps identify, develop, and manage financial institution partnerships that drive account acquisition, portfolio growth, and fee income. The role contributes to prospecting activities, partner relationship management, business case development, and cross-functional coordination to support successful program execution.
The incumbent serves as a key liaison between partners and internal stakeholders, helping ensure programs meet performance objectives and deliver value to both FNBO and partner institutions.
- Support the development and growth of financial institution credit card partnerships.
- Assist in identifying, qualifying, and evaluating new partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in partner meetings, discovery discussions, and business development activities.
- Develop presentations, proposals, financial analyses, and supporting materials for partnership opportunities.
- Maintain sales pipeline information and CRM records to ensure accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting.
- Support contract negotiation and implementation activities under the guidance of senior business development leaders.
- Partner with Product, Risk, Marketing, and Operations to design and launch new card programs.
- Develop business cases and prioritize product enhancements based on partner needs, market trends, and financial impact.
- Maintain competitive insights and industry knowledge to inform product roadmaps and innovation.
- Act as the central point of coordination between partners and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Support alignment on priorities, timelines, and performance goals to maximize partnership outcomes.
- Represent the organization at industry events, partner meetings, and key relationship touchpoints.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
- Build a reputation as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in financial institution credit card programs.
- Business Development – Identifies, develops, and closes strategic partnership opportunities.
- Relationship Management – Cultivates and maintains strong, long‑term partner relationships.
- Strategic Thinking – Aligns initiatives with business growth objectives and market strategy.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partners effectively across teams to deliver programs and results.
- Data & Financial Acumen – Leverages data and financial insights to inform decisions.
- Executive Presence – Communicates with clarity and credibility to influence stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, banking, credit cards or related.
- Established network and reputation within the financial services industry.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills.
- Frequent travel.
- Unrestricted work authorization and no sponsorship required.
Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00–$. This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Work EnvironmentIt is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work remotely, offering you the freedom to contribute to our mission from wherever you work best, without compromising on career growth or connection to our team. Regardless of your location, you'll be fully integrated into our team through robust digital collaboration tools and regular communication. The incumbent can work remotely from any of the states listed on the job posting, though occasional travel may be required for in‑person meetings.
