The Role

The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for setting and driving the enterprise sourcing strategy for Fidelity Investments in collaboration with our internal business partners. Situated within Fidelity's Procurement organization, this role leads end‑to‑end category management across a portfolio of spend, drives measurable value creation, and builds a high‑performing sourcing organization aligned to business priorities. The VP of Strategic Sourcing will partner closely with executive stakeholders, finance, legal, risk, and business unit leaders, as well as the broader Procurement organization, to ensure sourcing strategies enable growth, manage risk, and optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining strong vendor relationships, accountability and governance.

and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management or commensurate experience within a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise‑scale category portfolios and managing significant spend.
  • Proven success building and leading large, distributed teams with multiple layers of leadership.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner at the C‑suite level.
  • Deep experience in strategic negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship management.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments is strongly preferred.

This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
