Description of Work The NCDAC Support Services Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) is seeking an energized and collaborative Accounting Technician II to join the Coastal Region Maintenance Team. This full‑time position is based at the Coastal Region Maintenance Yard in Greenville, NC, and also supports the Piedmont Region Maintenance Team with essential accounting and administrative functions.
- Review and process expense vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and financial documents.
- Maintain accurate financial accounting data and reporting records.
- Prepare and verify financial statements and related documentation.
- Provide administrative support to regional maintenance teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned accounting tasks.
Schedule & Work Location This is an on‑site, 40‑hour per week role with state benefits. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional weekend work as needed.

Salary Grade Range: $35,596.00-$62,294.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Working knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices. Working knowledge in presenting financial information clearly and concisely in oral and written form. Working knowledge of verifying accounting documents and forms for accuracy and completeness.
