Position: Construction Foreman (RALEIGH, NC AREA)

Overview

Construction Foreman (Raleigh, NC) – responsible for coordinating job duties, leading crews, ensuring safety and project delivery for fueling and charging station construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with construction managers, estimators and internal departments to ensure jobs are completed on time.
  • Monitor and maintain schedules for workers and subcontractors, ensuring best skill application.
  • Ensure safe work practices, housekeeping, and compliance with codes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Brief crew members on daily tasks and direct workers on assigned tasks.
  • Track rental equipment and material usage, monitor labor and subcontractor costs to maintain project budgets.
  • Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks, document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections, and visitors.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as skid‑steer loaders, mini excavators, rubber tire backhoes, and perform concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing tasks.
  • Travel to job sites as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3‑5 years construction experience running crews and subcontractors; preference for petroleum construction.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment: skid‑steer loaders, mini excavators, rubber tire backhoes.
  • 40‑hr OSHA training or similar safety certification.
  • Strong communication skills, self‑starter, and leadership qualities.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices, cost monitoring, budget management, code compliance, documentation, and relationship building.
  • Ability to travel to job sites.
