Customer Service Representative

Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a growing organization within the insurance and financial services industry. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting annuity and life insurance products and building strong, long‑term client relationships.

Schedule:

Onsite in Durham, NC three days per week; office hours 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday.

• Manage client communications via phone, email, chat, and text regarding service and claims needs.
• Resolve client requests efficiently, escalating issues only when necessary and following through to completion.
• Process service transactions including withdrawals, surrenders, and ownership or beneficiary changes.
• Explain contract benefits and product information in a clear, client‑friendly manner.
• Support contract retention efforts and promote use of digital client platforms.
• Provide technical assistance with the client portal and support special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant customer service or call center experience.
• Ability to pass call center simulation testing demonstrating multitasking skills.
• Positive, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC skills.

• $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
