Role Overview
The Dental Hygienist provides exceptional patient care as a key member of a collaborative dental team. Responsibilities include performing dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation, while promoting preventative care and maintaining patients' oral health.
Qualifications & Skills- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and relevant degree (Associate's or Bachelor's)
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
- Preferred: 0-1+ years of clinical experience, familiarity with digital x-rays, digital scanners, Velscope, and electronic health records; eagerness to develop clinical skills
- Deliver high-quality dental hygiene services and patient education
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform physical tasks including prolonged sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds
- Attend periodic training sessions and comply with health and safety protocols, including TB testing
