Capture Spine Volume at Private Health System

Overview

A Southern private health system is looking to add spine-focused general neurosurgeons to work with their team in a beautiful mid-sized city. There is a current need to add several new partners to capture market share that is leaving the system. New grads and experienced candidates are both considered and the addition of both is ideal. Mentorship is available for new grads.

A spine fellowship is preferred, but not mandatory. Someone with epilepsy interests can be supported, within the context of a general neurosurgery position.

• The health system's flagship hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is the largest and most comprehensive medical center within the five-county region, and is the primary admitting hospital for the neurosurgery team. A leader in compassionate, quality care, their campus includes a teaching hospital with more than 600 beds and a referral center.
• The hospital features 18 dedicated Neuro-ICU beds, up-to-date MRI and CT equipment, navigation and radiosurgery equipment, an O-Arm, and a C-Arm. The neurosurgeon will also admit to a smaller hospital without a trauma designation that also boasts state-of-the-art equipment.
• Practice Highlights:
• 100 cases anticipated year 1, 250 to 300 once established
• Each neurosurgeon has their own PA
• Call schedule 1 in 7

• No non-compete agreements in contracts
• Competitive base pay, productivity bonus, quality bonus, call pay after 5 days per month, sign-on bonus
