Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and review of medical records. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adult patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs and echocardiograms (if available at the facility). Provide ongoing patient education and support to manage chronic cardiac conditions. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and referring physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.

Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Qualifications for Success:
Current board certification in Cardiology is mandatory. Valid and active medical license in the state of North Carolina is required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and DEA are mandatory. Experience using EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility, is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff.
