Assistant Toddler Teacher

Full-time 37.5 hours/week (10:30 a.m.

- 6:00 p.m.)
Year‑round (12 month position starting as soon as possible, February 2026).

The Assistant Toddler Teacher partners with the Lead Teacher in a classroom of 12 students, ages 15 to 36 months. This is a full‑time, salaried non‑exempt position in a year‑round program. The hours are 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Minimum salary begins at $39,000.

• Experience working with toddlers.
• Experience in a Montessori classroom strongly preferred.
• Physical capability to pick up and carry a child up to 60 lbs and to move quickly in an emergency.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year‑round.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of managing responsibilities and following through on assigned projects.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent visual and auditory perception.
• Computer literacy.
