Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination – Operations: Manage office travel, including the recruitment calendar, 500+ travel requests, event payments, alumni correspondence, and data‑driven recruitment decisions.
  • Leadership: Directly supervise the campus tour coordinator and eagle ambassadors; act as backup to the coordinator; serve as acting Director in the Director’s and Associate Director’s absence.
  • Administrative: Participate in the Undergraduate Admissions leadership team and serve as Eagle Preview (Open House) Committee Chair for Fall/Spring programs.
  • Knowledge – Program: Collect, analyze, and report travel and campus tour data; assist long‑range planning and goal setting; coordinate recruitment data entry in CRM and other databases.
  • Work Coordination: Recruit students and manage applicant records within a geographic territory; be available for in‑state and out‑of‑state travel during fall and spring.
  • Administrative Support: Provide training and guidance to admissions staff on travel processes; support the campus tour coordinator with training for eagle ambassadors, EA meetings, fundraising, and end‑of‑year programming.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Logical reasoning to evaluate decisions and alternatives.
  • Effective presentation skills in one‑on‑one, small and large group settings.
  • Prioritization, planning, and independent decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with student information systems (BANNER, DATATEL, Admission Pros, etc.).
  • Team collaboration and customer‑service orientation.
  • Public speaking proficiency in diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, organization, time‑management, and confidentiality management.
  • Flexibility for nights, weekends, and frequent travel.
  • Staff training and supervision capability.
Minimum Education /Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (accredited institution); 3+ years of admissions, management, or program coordination experience preferred.

• Experience in higher‑education services, student services, or related educational capacity preferred.

• Valid driver’s license required.
