The Department of Language and Literature is responsible for teaching General Education courses in English, Foreign Languages, Humanities, and Philosophy. The department also houses degree programs in English, Foreign Languages, and Interdisciplinary Studies.

To teach General Education courses in Philosophy, especially Ethics.

• Teach introductory philosophy and ethics courses to approximately 35 students per class.
• Manage classroom environment and ensure student engagement.
• Utilize Canvas and other technological tools to deliver course content.

• Qualifications to teach courses in Philosophy, with a specialization in Ethics.
• Strong classroom management skills for classes of around 35 students.
• Proficiency in using Canvas and other technological learning tools.

• M.A. degree in Philosophy or a related field with a minimum of 18 hours of relevant graduate coursework.
• Experience teaching introductory philosophy and/or ethics courses.
