To teach General Education courses in Philosophy, especially Ethics.
Key Responsibilities and Related Competencies- Teach and design instruction for introductory philosophy courses with emphasis on Ethics.
- Manage a classroom of approximately 35 students, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Utilize Canvas or similar technological tools for content delivery, assessments, and communication.
- Credentialed to teach courses in Philosophy, with a particular focus on Ethics.
- Strong classroom management skills for a 35‑student cohort.
- Proficiency with Canvas or comparable LMS platforms.
- M.A. degree in Philosophy or a related field with at least 18 hours of relevant graduate coursework.
- Experience teaching courses in Introductory Philosophy and/or Ethics.
No licenses or certification required.
