Position Overview
Clinical Instructor (Health Administration) at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). Fixed‑term 2‑year appointment, 1 = 9/10 month faculty load.
Responsibilities- Teach highly engaging undergraduate courses in Health Administration, 3–4 courses per semester, 100% online.
- Prepare students for leadership and impactful positions in health administration.
- Develop course materials, assessment activities, and learning outcomes.
- Mentor students in projects, capstone activities, and professional development.
- Advise students on career and academic progression.
- Participate in departmental meetings and events 2–3 times per academic year.
- Master of Health Administration or related discipline; coursework in business, management, and law required.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in the healthcare industry or related management settings.
- Previous teaching experience at college or university level, especially online delivery.
- Expertise in one or more content areas listed (HAD 3000–4100).
- Proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and course development.
- Record of research and scholarly activity, including peer‑reviewed publications.
- Knowledge of accreditation processes with CAHME or similar agency.
- FACHE, CPHQ, CMM, CHC, CHAP, CPHRM, CPHIMS, CHFP, ACUE (online instruction).
