Summary
Lynn University is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty of Voice and Speech. The course introduces students to vocal expression techniques and the practical use of voice in performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as undergraduate faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences teaching Voice and Speech.
- Participate in the college’s assessment program of student performance.
- Respond promptly to student questions and concerns.
- Submit university reports and requirements, such as attendance, grades, and student progress reports, in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in technology for instructional delivery, including learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Ability to incorporate different learning styles into instructional delivery.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- MFA in Drama, Theatre, Acting, Musical Theatre, Directing, Dance, or an equivalent in theatrical performance arts.
- Professional experience as an actor, director, singer, or dancer; alternatively, equivalent professional experience can be provided as justification.
- Preference for candidates with a professional network of colleagues, actively working in the industry, and degrees from regionally accredited institutions.
