Resilience Coach
This position will support before and after school programming at Voyager Academy, which supports elementary and middle/high school students.

Head Coach/Site Leadership
Schedule:
Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs) Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-8:15AM and 3:45PM-6:00PM*

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.
This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
Program Delivery
- Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
- Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
- Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
- Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
Program Operations
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
- Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have completed the Basic School-Age Care (BSAC) training
- 2 semester hours in child/youth development AND 2 semester hours in school-age programming
- Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
