The Sr. Coordinator directs and implements programs focused on leadership and integrates leadership development into programs and resources in Leadership and Community Engagement and across the Office of Student Life. They oversee annual programs including the LEAD series, Leader Shape Institute, Leadership Week, and Leadership Awards; advise and train the Student Leadership Advocates peer educator cohort, and regularly facilitate leadership workshops and retreats for student organizations.
The Coordinator supervises two undergraduate student employees and six paid student leadership advocates (totaling eight student employees) and oversees a programming budget of $60,000, including sponsorship stewardship. They create new programming for students at all levels, remaining grounded in research and assessment, relevant theory and literature, effective practices, and purposeful relationships to design and deliver programs and resources.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 4 years of student programming and advising experience at the college level. The candidate must have relevant knowledge of student leadership development theories and models and successfully complete a background check.

Advanced degree in a related field, 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of student development theory, demonstrated facilitation skills, experience working with and advising college students, and experience working with campus and community partners.
Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $44,400.00 - $58,000.00. The offer will be based on internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
