Duke School offers a project‑based learning environment that develops high‑level analytical and critical thinking skills in middle school students. The school emphasizes mathematics, science, social sciences, Spanish, and English through explicit instruction and collaboration among four teachers at each grade level. Grades 5–8 enroll about 50 students each.

PositionWe are seeking exceptional Middle School Math and Project Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year, with a strong understanding of best practices in teaching adolescents.
Responsibilities- Lead a daily advisory of 11–13 students.
- Deliver math curriculum in three classes of 16–17 students.
- Collaborate with a team of teachers to design, deliver, and evaluate three projects during the year.
- Education degree (or equivalent).
- At least three years of teaching experience.
- Deep understanding of middle school philosophy and a commitment to the academic and social/emotional growth of students.
- Strong collaboration skills.
Compensation commensurate with experience and local salary levels.
