The Student Equipment Assistant is responsible for issuing, maintaining, and upkeeping equipment and apparel for varsity sport programs and various other athletic departments. This is a part‑time, non‑benefits eligible position.

• Student worker experience working with collegiate athletics, focus on equipment preferred

• Effective written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• The scope of this position requires weekend, evening, and possible holiday hours
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, keen attention to details, ability to multi‑task
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

• Provide laundry services for the athletics department
• Distribute clean laundry to student athletes, staff, and coaches
• Provide after‑hour assistance for competition, practice, and events
• Assist other staff members with daily assignments and projects
• Inventory athletic apparel and equipment and distribute to proper departments
• Assist with set up for athletic competitions and practice
