Position OverviewAssistant Professor to serve as a member of the Division of Hematology within the Department of Internal Medicine. The role involves developing and performing a program of research in hematology, obtaining external research funding, supervising laboratory staff, and participating in the academic commitments of the division and department.
Responsibilities- Design, conduct, and oversee a program of research in hematology.
- Secure and manage external research funding.
- Supervise laboratory staff and research personnel.
- Engage in teaching, mentoring, and service activities as required by the division and department.
Required: PhD or equivalent in a related field; an established record or strong evidence of the ability to achieve extramurally‑funded and productive scholarship in the discipline of medical laboratory science or related field; ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
