The Division of Social Systems and Environment (SSE) of Duke University's main campus in Durham, USA, has opened an assistant professor in climate economics with tenure at research
. This opportunity is aimed at researchers with an applied approach and solution-oriented, whose work has the potential to contribute to the mitigation of or adaptation to climate change

The basic requirement is to have a doctorate (Ph.D.) or equivalent degree in economics, a field within economics, or a related area such as public policy, obtained by June 2025
