Equipment Assistant, Football

Position Summary

The Athletics Equipment staff is responsible for the issuance, maintenance, and upkeep of the equipment and apparel for varsity sport programs and various other athletic departments. This is a part‑time position scheduled to work 29.9 hours per week.

• Experience working with collegiate athletics, focus on equipment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree.

• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work weekend, evening, and possible holiday hours.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, keen attention to details, and ability to multi‑task.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Provide laundry services for the athletics department.
• Distribute clean laundry to student athletes, staff, and coaches.
• Provide after‑hour assistance for competition, practice, and events.
• Assist other staff members with daily assignments and projects.
• Inventory athletic apparel and equipment and distribute to proper departments.
• Assist with set up for athletic competitions and practice.

Annual base salary range: USD $20.84. Salary is determined based on factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market considerations.
