Adjunct Faculty, History

Position Summary

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part‑time adjunct teaching positions primarily for in‑person classes on our main campus.

• Teach undergraduate courses in the History discipline.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance on campus for in‑person classes.
• Align teaching activities with the university’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and college teaching experience.
• Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and e‑learning tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia.
