Behaviour Support Assistant
We are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a Primary School based in North Durham. This isa great role for someone who wants to become a familiar face in schools that value consistency.

- Monitor behaviour in the classroom and reinforce positive conduct
- Encouraging independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills
- Supporting learners by providing one-to-one or small group assistance
- Inspire children to engage in lessons consistently
- Maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality, following school policies
Skills:
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning
- Patience and a calm approach to assisting others
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
