Early Years – Teaching Assistant Did you study to be an Early Years Practitioner? Are you looking for practical experience?

We have an opportunity for an Early Years based Teaching Assistant to join Key Stage One in a Primary School based in North Durham. This isa great role for someone who wants to become a familiar face in schools that value consistency.

• Encouraging independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills
• Supporting learners by providing one-to-one or small group assistance
• Inspire children to engage in lessons consistently
• Maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality, following school policies

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning
• Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
